Brother Chimp Brewing Wins a Gold Award at 2024 World Beer Cup

North Aurora, IL • Brother Chimp Brewing received a gold award,  in the 2024 World Beer Cup, the most prestigious beer competition in the world.

World Beer Cup award ceremony took place on April 24, 2024, at The Venetian in Las Vegas where awards were given in 110 beer-style categories.

Brother Chimp Brewing received a gold award in the Vienna Lager beer style category for its Ludwig, a crystal clear, walnut brown in color, easy drinking lager. The flavor is dominated by a traditional toasty Vienna malt presence, accentuated by biscuity grain notes, with a limited hop presence for exceedingly smooth drinkability. 

Brother Chimp Brewing is a 5-barrel nanobrewery with a taproom, located in North Aurora IL.  They specialize in craft beers that taste like beer, with a well-rounded beer menu, so all beer lovers can find something to enjoy.

Often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer,” the World Beer Cup recognizes international brewing excellence. This year’s winners were selected by an international panel of 280 beer judges from 37 countries; 9,300 total entries from 2,060 breweries and 50 total countries were evaluated.
