The Batavia Community Band will be hosting two “Concerts in the Park” during the remainder of 2024. One takes place on Sunday, Sept. 8 and one on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Gindo’s Spice of Life are collaborating again on a Batavia community hot sauce, and we need your peppers! Gindo’s will be collecting peppers September 9 through October 1 (10 a.m.-.2.p.m., Tuesday through Saturday), and will use these peppers to create Fire on the Fox: Volume 2 Hot 2 Handle.
