    About Us

Mill Creek Early Childhood Program is a Reggio Inspired, nature and relationship-based early childhood program. Our curriculum encourages young children and their teachers to explore, question, and discover in a stimulating environment. As early childhood educators, we know children learn best through active, engaged, meaningful play.

Our goal is to learn about each child and the context of his or her learning. We engage and evaluate children on tasks that are personally meaningful to them, takes place in real life contexts, and is grounded in naturally occurring activities throughout the day. The process of observing, recording, and documenting what children do and how they do it is the basis for a variety of educational decisions that affect our teaching approaches as well as curriculum development and implementation.

We offer full time care for infants through school age children, a preschool program for children 2 through 5, a kindergarten program, after school enrichment programs, and summer camp for preschool and school age children.

The meals and snacks we provide are organic and locally sourced, including fresh fruits and vegetables from the children’s garden. Out outdoor space is created to be natural and open-ended to allow children the freedom to discover, climb, dig, explore, and imagine.
