Lazarus House is located on Walnut Street in the first block south of Route 64. Our main entrance, Door #1, is on the west side of the building on 3rd Street. Please ring the bell.

Lazarus House provides shelter and services to those experiencing homelessness or at risk in Batavia, St. Charles, Geneva and western rural Kane County.
Our mission is to offer guests connected to our communities, who are homeless or in need, hope for the future by providing hospitality, food, safe shelter, and education — tools for life. We strive to make certain that all who enter feel the love of Jesus.
Our desire is to offer everyone who comes to our doors the opportunity for hope and a future.
The Women’s Case Manager is responsible for utilizing trauma-informed care while working with Emergency Shelter guests and their children, helping them reach their personally defined goals, provide support to meet their requests, and help them move toward independent living.Duties include:
