Please help the less fortunate in our community with donations of new or clean and gently used winter items in good condition: hats, mittens, coats, boots, scarves, gloves, and snow gear.
Safe Donation Guidelines:
- Please clean coats before donating them. The CDC recommends washing items according to the manufacturer’s instructions, using the warmest appropriate water setting and drying items completely.
- Avoid touching other items in the donation bin.
- Wear a mask inside buildings and when donating.
- Wash hands thoroughly before and after donating. If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
- Please be aware that, according to the CDC, COVID-19 spreads easily between people but does not spread easily in other ways, like touching surfaces or objects. They say: “It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus.”

I am so thankful that a few of my fellow Batavian’s recommended the Batavia Chamber of Commerce to me. Since I joined I feel as though I have been blessed with a second family with all the support and motivation I get from them on a regular basis. Margaret, Patti and Shirley are the most amazing women. They have great passion for business and helping people. I truly feel they care about my business on a personal level and want to see it grow and succeed as much as I do! They have gone the extra mile to get my name and my business name out there and introduce me to the business community. The Chamber has so many opportunities available that have helped my business both grow and problem solve such as the free monthly Networking It events. I highly recommend the Batavia Chamber of Commerce to all business professionals.
