    Since 1961, The Association for Individual Development (AID) has served individuals with developmental, intellectual, physical and/or mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma, and those at risk. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, and mental health challenges to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for a Case Manager Qualified Intellectual Development Professional (QIDP) who exemplifies that mission, and who wants to work for an organization that makes a difference.     What will you be doing?

    • Responsible to develop and implement individual programs to maximize the client’s independent community living skills and inclusion in their community
    • Provide documentation on client in accordance with DHS, CARF, or DPH standards, as applicable
    • Advocate for and maintain rights and privacy of clients that are served
    • Responsible as a temporary and assigned case manager to fill in for open QIDP positions clinical paper work for assigned caseload.  Will provide training and support for QIDP’s 
    • Accountable for providing to both clients and staff members a positive, professional and safe environment in which to live, learn and work 
    • Maintain and assist with assurance that all aspects of community living comply with all applicable Federal, state, and accreditation standards. 
     
    What will you bring to the table?
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field.   
    • Master’s degree preferred; additional certification or licenses helpful. 
    • At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.  
    • Three to five years of experience as QIDP or QMHP preferred.  
    • Two years supervisory experience required with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience at AID. Clinical Support Specialists may manage two or more clinical caseloads and may include residential/Community/Day program clients.

    • Navigation of stairs
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
    • Ability to provide services in a client’s home
    • The use of your personal vehicle or agency vehicles to transport clients
    • Maintaining required certifications and other relevant trainings
