Case Manager Qualified Intellectual Development Professional (QIDP)

We are looking for a Case Manager Qualified Intellectual Development Professional (QIDP) who exemplifies that mission, and who wants to work for an organization that makes a difference. What will you be doing?- Responsible to develop and implement individual programs to maximize the client’s independent community living skills and inclusion in their community
- Provide documentation on client in accordance with DHS, CARF, or DPH standards, as applicable
- Advocate for and maintain rights and privacy of clients that are served
- Responsible as a temporary and assigned case manager to fill in for open QIDP positions clinical paper work for assigned caseload. Will provide training and support for QIDP’s
- Accountable for providing to both clients and staff members a positive, professional and safe environment in which to live, learn and work
- Maintain and assist with assurance that all aspects of community living comply with all applicable Federal, state, and accreditation standards.
What will you bring to the table?- Bachelor’s Degree in a human service field.
- Master’s degree preferred; additional certification or licenses helpful.
- At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Three to five years of experience as QIDP or QMHP preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience required with a minimum of one year of supervisory experience at AID. Clinical Support Specialists may manage two or more clinical caseloads and may include residential/Community/Day program clients.
