Runners, walkers and those in wheelchairs are invited to join in the 9th annual Run, Walk & Roll-Geneva 5K/1-mile event on Sunday, Oct. 17, to help support the care of children and adults with profound developmental disabilities.
This year's event will have a wheelchair race start time of 8:25 a.m., followed by runners and walkers at 8:30 a.m. Participants in the 5K will run on a USATF-certified course through the South Mill Creek neighborhood, starting and ending at the Marklund Hyde Center campus, 1S450 Wyatt Drive, Geneva. A 'Party in the Park' celebration will be held after the event with various food and beverages for participants and supporters.
Individuals may set up personal fundraising pages to encourage support from their own network of family and friends.
Various sponsorship packages are available. Volunteers are needed to help on the day of the event.
Registration includes options for race hoodie and beanie, while supplies last.Registration also includes finisher medal, participant bib, professional 5K chipped timing, entry into the "Party in the Park" celebration and more!
