Description
Join us in Batavia City Hall Council Chambers with your friends and family for Batavia’s 12th annual Green Night Out at the Movies featuring “Current Revolution.” The Batavia Environmental Commission seeks to educate and inspire the community to take meaningful action to improve our environment. The event features an Eco-Expo, environmentally-themed movie and a lively discussion about the topic of the movie with local experts afterward.
This film tackles the challenge of how the utility, auto, tech and defense industries can help modernize the aging power grid to make it more secure and responsive to the needs of its users, while enhancing environmental performance. With a focus on national security, economic prosperity, and environmental justice, the films and campaigns will show how the nation can embrace smart policies and investments that support grid modernization through distributed renewable energy generation and the development of an electric vehicle infrastructure.
After the film we will engage in a community discussion led by a panel of experts. We will ask the question of how residents Batavia and other cities in the Fox Valley can adapt and make the changes we need to make for a clean energy future.
This is a FREE community event. Please bring your reusable cups and bowls for popcorn and lemonade.

I am so thankful that a few of my fellow Batavian’s recommended the Batavia Chamber of Commerce to me. Since I joined I feel as though I have been blessed with a second family with all the support and motivation I get from them on a regular basis. Margaret, Patti and Shirley are the most amazing women. They have great passion for business and helping people. I truly feel they care about my business on a personal level and want to see it grow and succeed as much as I do! They have gone the extra mile to get my name and my business name out there and introduce me to the business community. The Chamber has so many opportunities available that have helped my business both grow and problem solve such as the free monthly Networking It events. I highly recommend the Batavia Chamber of Commerce to all business professionals.
